Just picked up a bargain on a GP for use mainly by my girlfriend. My problem is that the passenger seat is not height adjustable. The driver's seat is, and I can get into a comfortable position in it. But the lack of height adjust in the passenger side means I need to have the seat moved fully back otherwise my head hits the roof. I've tried tilting the seat back but to give me enough clearance I feel uncomfortably "slouched"!

Is it possible to get this changed at a fiat dealership, and will it require a whole new seat or just a new mechanism under the seat?

woulda thought it'd need a whole new seat for sure, but then you'd be fitting a drivers seat, so problems like the belt clip on wrong side, handle would be too big to fit at that side and the air bag would be on wrong side(if fitted) you could fit a drivers seat from a foreign model possible but then you'd probably looking really expensive, probably not worth it

If it's possible to get a lhd drivers seat to replace the passenger one that might be the best bet? Or even the lhd lifting mechanism if you could find a way top retrofit it to the existing seat?

Just ask Fiat or try something like Italian ebay?

Hmm...looks like the people in the back are going to have to get used to driving economy class
