It is still for sale, but only whilst stocks last. You can't order one from the factory. The last time I looked (about 2 weeks ago when I nabbed the last Crossover Black one) there were only about a dozen left, all in New Orleans Blue or Rap Yellow.

The Series 2 was only actually built for about 6 weeks, basically just to use up the remaining engines after the changeover last Summer.

Sorry Scrogg but I just received an Exotica Red 1.9MJET which I only ordered on Jan 28th so there are more than just the Blue and Yellow knocking about.

Although having said that - the 1.6 16v's must be in production, as it has been available to order on the Italian FIAT website for a while now...

Yours was already at the dealership though, wasn't it?

As I said in your thread about whether to go for Exotica or Crossover, the only colours left at Portbury are New Orleans Blue and Rap Yellow.

No mate it was a status 50 I think (not sure what that means though) but it was in the Country.

Status 50 means allocated to a dealership but not delivered to them yet, so not visible to the rest of us on a search.

I'm sure there are others available at dealerships, but without ringing round to find one it would be very difficult to know.

I have a 58 series 2 1.9 8v and have driven the 1.6 jtd in france last week. 1.6 is less noisey and picks up quicker, but 1.9 has it on pull and 50-80 acceleration!;)

If you search for "Used Cars" on the Fiat website all of the 1.9MJETS that are for sale are listed as 16Valve, and this is the official Fiat site and even they can not get it right.
