Driving along today and notice my mileage flashing away. Just had the car serviced a week ago.

I think they may have had the battery off to clean the terminals etc as this is in the service list but then didn't do a proxy alignment afterwards.:bang::bang:

You dont need to proxy align them after you have had the battery off? Ive had my battery off loads and never needed them doing.

you do not have to go anywhere. they probably forgot to reset the service interval. try setting this from your menu button, menu/ up/ service/ menu/ set the interval/ menu/ up/ exit,and you are done

garage will reset service indicator via examiner

Mines been doing this since i bought it!! I have taken it into to Fiat 3 times and they still havent fixed it so i have given up taking it in!!

I would say the flashing mileage was a problem with something on the CAN network, thats what used to happen with the Stilos. Ask them to hook the car up to Examiner, that should tell you what isnt working correctly

Yes normally CAN or voltage related.

It dont mean its a serious problem though does it the mileage flashing a mean?

was Ok today on my 100 mile trip when i tried to go mountain biking as soon as i got home after the last episode i stuck it on the intelligent battery charger to top it up,...

not done any long trips in it since december (lost my job) but todays drive was lovely car drives so much better after its done a few miles and been thrashed (lovingly) through deep snow there is one thing T it handles bloody well on compacted snow and ice (until you come to a hill) thats when snow chains come in handy (which i had) :slayer:

im sure fiat done software update for mileage flashing problem as well????
