just noticed mine seems a bit broken and the hose around it doesnt cover all the wires? its a brand new fricking car and i got it last friday? im not that great with cars so is it worth taking back to the dealer or does it not relli matter? thanks in advance pals

It's not really a big problem as most of the time it's only there to keep the loom tidy (and the plastic casings at the ends aren't water-proof anyway) and, like anything mass-produced, sometimes they miss the little things that matter. However, personally if I see wires not tucked away or not in their clips I make the effort on PDI or a service to sort it out as if it were my car I'd be annoyed like yourself.

I was forever refitting mk2 Punto fusebox covers properly on the Service and tidying up the chewed fixings- most customer's probably never noticed, but I'm sure the few that did appreciated it.

its the wires for the main ecu i think? its going into fiat on monday for them to av a look and hopefully sort it out. its not relli bothering me its jus the principles relli lol

If it's a 1.2/1.4 8v it's normal on the ECU for one loom to have it's plastic end-piece on, and the other loom to be without and the wiring exposed. Don't ask me why, lol.

Danny is right (as usual) thats the way the wiring is at the ECU (look at any others in the showroom), the loom doesn't need protecting here but the left hand ECU connector has a cover purely as a precaution as its closer to the engine (heat)

heres the pic guys...is that normal? for it to be like that and the sort of protecting plastic bit to be like that and leave sum of the wires exposed?
