Hi Guys

I need some help, i've bought some white led parklight bulbs and then got an error light on my dash, so i've read that you must use a resistor with it, so iwent to a electrical shop and changed the excisting resistor with a better one, but when i put the led bulb on the driver side, the bulb flashes, but when i put it on the passenger side and the original bulb in the driver side it work perfectly, but then when i put the led in the driver side with an led on the passenger side, both flashes, so what can i do next to get these led bulbs to work, do i need to wire up another resistor on each bulb, so that there is two resistors per bulb

please help

thanks

yes i take it the LED you wired runs between the live supply and the LED?

you need another wired across live and neutral

you need a ceramic resistor wired in parallel with each LED

33ohm +/-5% 10w

you can get them cheaper from an Electronics shop

okay, just bare with me here, so i need to wire up another resistor, so there will be two resistors on each led bulb, on the positive side, right?

do i solder the resistors on the bulbs positive wire or do i wire them up seperatly to another wire or what, i'm reallynot clued up with this stuff, but need to get that yellow original colour replaced with a neat white colour, i've got osram silverstar headlight bulbs, just need some white parklight bulbs. i want to do the same with the back numberplate lights aswell, change them to whight led bulbs.

ya, but it looks so much more styling than the original sidelights, so hope somebody would beable to help mein the right direction, cause i would like to do this little mod.

the information is in dutch, i'll do my best for a good translation!

With this led resistance cable it's possible to connect the LED sidelights to the canbus system without getting flashy light on the dashboard.

Use this only for replacing the original sidelights for led sidelights (canbus car's only)

set of 2 pieces

assembly:
No cutting in the original wiring. In the set are smal clamps wich u click in the original wiring. the 2 resistors can be placed against the chassis or a other solid place

very simple assembly!

sorry, i do understand the English language quite well, but it's pretty hard to translate something from dutch to english.

i'll hope u will understand it. i did my best

cool thanks that will work 100%, but one more problem, we don't have those kits in South Africa.i just need to understand how to solder another resistor parallel to the led bulb.

thanks for your help
