I went to my local delae rto enquire about fog lights because I think just having the light there looks nicer and also the added benefit of the lamp. I live on the coast next to a river so fog can be a weekly thing. And they qouted me over £600!!!!!

Something to do with a new indicator stalk and a new ecu then having the switch attatched above the rear fog light button and labour costs. This just seems rediculous, for a start why do I need a new indicator stalk when the button is in the dash and why a new ecu?? I really want them but can't justify £600 thats waaaaaay to much.

Has anyone else ever been told this and has anyone got around this and had them installed differently?? I'd love to know, cheers :D

Its how modern cars are wired via the body computer..
