I have done 6.5k miles and i wanted to change the oil due to the car being mapped so i got the oil and filter from Shop4parts.

Bottom Filter
http://www.shop4parts.co.uk/index.cfm?action=catalogue.list

Now the garage drained it down got the filter out and it looks more like the second one up from the bottom. So have shop4 parts sent the wrong one. Also wen they took the engine tray off it had oil on it. It look like it has been coming from just below the filter. Should i just take it too fiat for the filter problem or does anyone have any suggestions.

P.s i check my levels every week and i have not noticed anything wrong with the oil level so it isn't dripping alot.

Hey m8.

If it's still under warranty, i'd take it back to Fiat ;)
That's what you have warranties for.

The shop4parts page is showing page expired on your link. But the 1.9 is a paper element filter. Changed mine the other week.

When I changed mine, I had oil on my undertray and on futher inspection I found that it was coming from one of the turbo seals. Car goes in to Fiat next weds to be looked at.

Yeah thats what came but the holder was bigger at on end than the other and mine wasn't.

I have asked the garage to have a look into the where the oil is coming from, when i was standing under car earlier the oil didn't go any higher than the oil filter slot from what we could see. You could follow the track of oil from that point.
