Technical weird dash rattle

goodmorning my friends. i hoped this morning would be a good one but i was very irritated. there is a strange inside the dash rattle that is very sensitive.i mean if i step up a cigarette there it goes. it sounds inside the speedometer.like a little plastic out of place and hitting on metal.what could it be?:bang:

The plastic see through instrument cover, try holding it at the bottom when it rattles, stopped mine ages ago with a piece of blue tac (and no you cant see it)

Mine does the same, like ffoxy says, giving it a push at the bottom should stop it.

lol when I bought my car and started tidying things up. I ended up pulling of so much blue tac I had a ball bigger than a tennis ball, no joke. I even found a bit in the engine bay last week.

Ive fixed every little rattle my car had now its one heavy thud instead of a chorus of rattles

so you think it is the speedo. i will give it a try but i have to tell you that it is as steady as concrete.so i will have to push really hard. thanks mates

how did you stop the central console rattles? i only manage to stop all the others with clothes.but the cosole is giving to my nerves!

Sorry different car pal. plus Bravos are better

I just had loose bolts behind my dash with washers rattling on the bolts, but as I say my car is a different one.

just did the thing with the speedo but the problem remains. i have removed the under cover but i cannot find anything plastic near a metal particle.it is driving me nuts!:bang:like the door locks problem i had.
