Hi was wondering if anybody on here know how to take off the clip highlighted by the red circle????, its not the same as the one in the green circle as they just squeeze and come undone, so can anybody help on how to get off the clip in the red circle ????

is it a spring clip, if it is i think there is an explaination on how ot do it in the GSR fitment guide by manthatkidisscrewed, if that fails google it

grab and twist with long nose piliers

we managed to get it off in the end, his T-Jet is now sporting an HKS SSQV blow off valve, sounds pretty good actually

Flick it off with a screwdriver

come on, got to here this, video please, before u put a dump valve on did you try running the car without the elbow from the recirculation valve on? if so is the dump valve much louder?

it will be louder and a different noise altogether as the gap the air is forced trough is smaller.

I will show you what it sounds like vrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm ttttttttttsssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

LOL. wen i first took the pipe off my recirculating valve I mad a reducer for it to try make a different noise and louder, just blow the reducer straight off lol

yes it is, we did this because we had a few different dump valves knocking around, so thought it was worth a try. Tried a few different ones but the ssqv sounded the best, just a bit of fun really

u get a recording, they sound great on scoobys and evos on you tube, expensive thou

sorry its the wrong way round lol- I've never been a great fan of the ssqv, thats why i got a Greddy BOV, but it might be growing on me a bit

Have to say it does sound good in the vids on youtube

Edit: sounds weak on a GP sounds like a bird is tweeting under the bonnet lol

As my mate said, had a few different types of dump valves and thought just for a bit of fun try them the ssqv was the best as you can hear, as its a turboed car a dump valve has gotta be tried at somepoint just because you can lol

urm that's what SSQV's sound like? Also if a T-Jet is running at 1.3 bar it would be louder than a standard evo or scooby wouldnt it?
