hi guys, a weird question, but before i pull out my dashboard, is there any way to make the full beam light on the dash not quite so bright, as everytime i use full beam, i'm blinded by the dash light!!

Not sure if i'm talking about the right stuff or not. Can't you get some see through slighty tinted plastic to cover the instrument panel plastic? Obviously not too dark a tint otherwise you won't be able to read your dials. Im sure a good stationary shop could help you out with some film.

not being funny but have you had your eyes tested recently? could be a sensitivity of blue light? you driven a golf lately? similar problem?

I find the same

Plus and Minus keys on the right hand contol pad. (Fogs, Dip etc) will adjust the brightness of the whole display for you.....

wear sunglasses. lol

drive in the daytimes youll never get attacked by a vampire again!

Haha...im glad someone else finds the main beam light annoying. It is seriously bright when you are driving around in the dark!!

its not the display its the main beam tell tail thats bright..

I'd say take the plastic cover off, mask around the 'lens' with the main beam symbol and put some spray tint on it and re-assemble.

can't say I've noticed it much spend all my time looking at the road, I tend to use my sat nav for a speedo as it's already in my field of vision and I don't have to look down.

I'd have guessed it's deliberately bright so that you know how oncoming vehicles feel when you forget to dip your beams
