My money is on you having a 1.9 JTD Tractor edition GP. Like me.....

Its a nice little software fault FIAT left to annoy us. Take it to the dealer as it is known, and a few things are known to fix it.

I had a software upgrade, and a change of earth leads. But i still get the darn error.

A lot of owners of the superb 130 MJet see that from time to time. Software glitch on start-up normally. I just re-start and it goes away. I have done 40,000 mile + now so dont worry its NOT a "Major Problem"! :D

But before taking it to the dealer maybe you should check the radiator fluid ;)

Done every weekend and never changes. I have had this flash up at start up when the motor is stone cold.

Wont hurt to check the coolant level but its a software glitch.

Maybe its an awesome amount of heat generated in the first second from our Awesome MJets. LOL.....

 I wish some could be channelled into the heater... Probably my biggest complaint about the GPS MJet is how poor the heater is.

But that only an issue for a few months a year! :D

hate to say i have a 1.4 8v not an mjet:(, does anyone no if it will cost anything or is it there fault

My multi jet does this from time to time, mines is a 56 plate..so i wouldnt worry too much.

I have that car and got the error message. Read on the forum that it was a software update required.....took it to the dealer and they said that my radiator had started leaking and that I needed a new one! Luckily it was done under warranty!

Don't just assume it is just the software!

I've had this error about three times over the course of ownership... Funnily enough it's been on really cold days too.

Turn it off and try again, it's not blown up on me yet! (y)

It happened to me too on my 1.2 just the once. Turned the car on and off a few times and it didn't do it again so I payed no notice to it :)

funnily enough it was on a very cold day as well...

Cool! Dont be alarmed when you hear the horrific beep and the error pops up again though.

I had the joy again this morning. Though at least it was 3degrees outside today, so you can forgive it for thinking it may have been hot.

My experience with this error message in my mjet is generally because i have turned the key before the glow plugs and radiator lights go out. Turn key, wait for two lights to go out and start. No error message.

No trying to teach anyone how to suck eggs either, just giving my experience with this (y)
