Hi There

I'm in South Africa and don't have all these parts and information available on my GP like you, except for the dealers.

I want to fit a pair of parklight LED bulbs, but when i fit a dash light comes on(something wrong with bulb sign) so 30111987 told me on the forum that i need to get a resistor, cause the LED bulbs does not put out enough power and the resistor will help with that, can someone please help me with what kind of resistor i need to buy and how do i fit it with the LED parklight bulbs?

Then i would like to drop my car, but we don't have lowering spring kits here in S.A. what would it cost me to bring a set over from the U.K. to S.A or if someone has a set of original GP 5dr springs they can send me over(with cost offcoarse) so i can take it to a place called springwell and the can temper the spring and give you the drop you need. I've got 15 inch wheels on with 175/65/15 bridgestones tyres, i would like to drop 35mm in front and 25mm at the back, would this be fine?

thanks

you will want a ceramic wire wound resistor to wire in parallel with the sidelight wire

from hids4u they sell a kit which contains 2x

33ohm +/-5% 10w

(so nice of them to include a clear enough picture so you can read the ratings)
