does my 1.3 jtd has an intercooler? that's the question

Yeh you do have an intercooler... you can upgrade the intercooler like Swans-GP said. But there is alot of things to consider, trust me, im looking at doing it at the mo...

im pretty sure all turbo vehicles have intercoolers, they cool the air pushed out by the turbo

and a bigger intercooler will result in (correct me if i'm wroing) more torque!

pull your bottom grill out and it will be in front of the rad if you have one

Yea my intercooler there!!! not much of 1 the intercooler on a scooby is mounted on top of the engine and the bonnet scoop pretty much seals to it for maximum cold air feed

Would prefer a FMIC than TMIC, like the smoothness of the bonnet, dont want to drill a gaping hole out of the bonnet! Downer of a FMIC is that there easy enough to chipped from the crap from the road. But advantage is that it gets more air.

thanks, well atm its best to be a FMIC unless your wanting to stick a bonnet scoop on your gp, yet again the no room to have a TMIC on a gp. so best to see if you can get a bigger 1 to sit in the front

Well they need measurements, and I think they will be the same to be honest, but ill leave that to them. I reckon if there were 5 of us it would be around £300-£500 each.... I think but that is a random guess...

FMIC's will give you colder denser air going into the engine which gives you more power compared to a TMIC which can suffer from heat soak as the heat off the engine rises. FMIC's tend to cause a bit more turbo lag than TMIC's as TMIC's take less time to pressurise than FMIC's which means the turbo spools up faster.

are you suppling them with measurments or they going to do all that?

I got to do it, but I aint sure what size, would it be the same measurements as the Abarths or simply size up a custom one?
