how much would i gain? on my 1.3jtd? maybe with an 1.9 jtd intercooler (if this one is bigger...)
i have now acorrding to the manual 90bhp but its not enough...

Impossible to say, there is nothing that says a 1.9 intercooler will give you any gains at all, if you read the thread you will see ive already said its not as easy as just bolting a bigger intercooler on. And as i said earlier remap it that will give you the best gains for the money.

yes but if i could gain by an intercooler, blocking my egr and remap the gain wil be much higher, with a remap the say theorytically ill have 118bhp, (in real a bit more) so i though to go for about +-125 bhp with these three upgrades and then maybe a cat replacer for another 5 :)

and what more does it contents, knew a guy with a vw golf TD putted on an IC from a TDI and bam in stead of 70 hp he had 90

Do what you want tbh. No ones played around with what intercoolers will offer gains on any of the GPs that use them so its hard to say. Your golf story is irrelivant it proves nothing apart from the intercooler he put on was fine for the car. Put a 1.9 intercooler on all you want but there is 0 guarantee you will get any gains off it.

Well, spill the beans Lee

There is a lot of work to fit all these parts together, I have since made a jig to make a custom Turbo Ex manifold to use the Alfa 159 Turbo, as to fit the Turbo you must re drill & tap the new mounting holes in to the turbo ex flange to suit the 159 JTD turbo.

You must cut the nose of the 159 JTD Turbo as it is cast with a 90 degree bend in it and make the front of the turbo with a straight in take, this must be done an a good Lathe, you will need to build a custom Ex system to suit the new Ex out let.
You will need to drop the sump & fit a new Turbo drain to the sump, & blank off the one on the side of the engine block, you will need to make a full set of new oil feeder pipes & drains, plus new set of air in take pipes from the air cleaner & Air Mass meter to the turbo.

more pictures to come....
