Yes, but that is for a brand new unit, not a recon one. I was looking at a catalogue for remanufactured turbos, and the Garrett from the Mjet is 620 if I remember correctly.

Yes, the same turbo can have many different variations depending on the engine application. So I suggest you work with a Fiat variant to save a lot of time and effort.

Re: Turbo problem??

I'd better join in with this one

Mine has developed a 'flat spot' between 1.5k RPM and 2k RPM. It pulls as normal up to 1.5k RPM then theres no power upto 2k RPM and then the turbo comes in with a kick

It's booked into Fiat for Thursday morning so we'll see what they say.

Re: Turbo problem??

Bit more background on my issue, taken from another thread:

Quote Originally Posted by Si - Punto View Post

The car was booked into Fiat this morning to get checked out but it didnt make it that far. I was about 1 mile from my work car park yesterday morning when I lost all power, it would idle but struggled to pull away in any gear.

I managed to limp it the rest of the way to work and then abandonded it in the car park overnight and had it recovered this morning.

The recovery driver tried starting it to get it in line for the flat bed but it kept cutting out so we had to push it in line.

Not sure what's wrong with it, will have to wait and see what Fiat say.
I've had an update from Fiat this afternoon and Lee you were right mate

Fiat tech said that the EGR valve failed while fully open causing the car to go into limp-home mode.

New EGR valve and gasket has been ordered although due to adverse weather conditions parts from Italy are being delayed so it might be a little while before I get the beast back.

Do people think if this has been on it's way out for a while it would cause power and fuel econemy to be down, if so should it return to 100% once replaced?
