Styling side trim off or on

i dont understand.... why would you take you trim of the side of your car?

i assume he's referring to the side rubbing strips, they are really in the wrong place to offer any protection (wish i'd found that before i bought them :bang: )

sorry wrote it down wrong looks like there off then, never liked them was going to get them sprayed but not now thanks to all!

Not to hijack the thread but I am also thinking about removing the strips, BUT can you just stick them back on (using whatever type of glue you would use) when it comes to selling the car? How much of a mark does removing them leave?

yeah you can, but you dont really need to put them back on as they were a no cost option anyway

i say paint the thing and then see if you like it. if you don't take it off. i had mine painted and liked them a lot.so i left them on.until 2 days ago which apparently someone stole them from my car.
