Styling T-jet Vacum line

well iv changed my boost libe to somewhere differnet, i found a vacuum running from my inlet manifold to my fuel pressure regulater, i just pulled the pipe off connected my t-piece with another new piece of vacuum pipe, and this time i have vacuum pressure as well as boost:) its running just over 10 psi when under full load(4th) also for some strange reason iv had my pipe off where the recerculating valve goes to and when i took it for a spin to test boost pressure it seems to be ALOT louder lol i will have to get sum piks and vids up to show you guys! :)

ye man thats where i took my feed from for my boost gauge. you can also tap into this line to hook up a BOV and Gauge together.

i do have pics, but i bin in college for 2 weeks. so dont have acces to them. will put them up this weekend. (y)

right i found why it is louder if any of you guys have this pipe dissconnected and want it a bit louder take off the rubber strip/seal running along the edge of the scuttle panel (where your wiper blades are) and trust me makes a huge difference:):) and frome the message above do you rekon you will be able to put in a bov example hks or summin and then what would happen to the standard valve? block it up? take to connecter off the back of it?
thanks

im usuing a hks ssqv replica at present. will take pics but its coming off tomorrow as im headin to GSR and peter will kill me if he sees it lol.

ill get pics tho mate and show you what ive done. and that seal stops water getting into your engine bay via the ducting system, i wldnt of removed it.

Well im a mechanic myself and removing this rubber seal hasent made any water coming through into the engine bay and the weather has bin really bad where i am (south coast) and if i did notice water running down the scuttle panel i would have put it back on but for now its staying off bcoz its actully sounds quite good lol and as you are running a dump valve what have you done to the standard valve? blocked it up? and any difference in perfromance? e.g. lack of power?
thanks

Should be ok. If you put a BOV on and block up the standard one then the standard one doesnt send any signals back to the ECU saying its working so it puts the car into limp mode. (i think this is what Claw said anyway but im sure he will be along soon to confirm.

here i am.

for some reason when i wa running an atmospheric bov, when driving for prolonged periods of constant high speed. it brung the check light on. the day after i put it on.

so off it came. i havnt looked into it enough yet but i will do tomorow in work.

ill also be confirming the rumours that FIAT can tell fi your car have been mapped, so watch this space. (y)
