insubordination is now listed as a seperate offence rather than associated with another offence

also new rules on advertising, obscene posts, making 5 new posts before 'linking', and something about complaining about a mod but just ignore that bit.

50 points is a life ban
as such its used in extreme cases but more often for adbots etc
10 points gives a 1 day ban but obviously this can be changed depending on the issues

well the problem with these rules are a lot of stuff has to be left ambiguous
if we say X is racist but Y isnt then its a bit too black and white(no pun intended)
eg a joke about the Scot is just that. however if its a flaming war and someone makes a 'racist' scottish comment then thats different IYGWIM

Seems like a fair update to me.

It may even deter some of the repeat offenders from posting unjustifiable negative comments towards people and their choices in transportation

People are way too PC these Day Beany Many people are too scared to take the p1$$ in case it upsets some minority group, (Like i appear to have done in your case and if that's so I'm sorry)

Likewise some people are far too keen to put in complaints rather than have a dig back it used to be called banter,

But i can see what Custard is saying about the difference between a joke and where someone deliberately and with malice singles someone out deserves all they get.

We had a comedian at "our" club last Friday he took the mick, ripped into people For been fat, thin, disabled, black, white, looking like a gay, living in certain areas and their ethnicity and others that aren't fit to mention on a public (family) forum,

No one got upset (well except one person but he chose not to join in the fun)

But at the end of the night the comedian came round and shook everyone's hand No one had any hard feelings against him and the chap apologized for being a grumpy git......
