I must have an extremely large bottle cause i've only filled mine up a few times
I wish I could say the same. Mine holds about 1.75 litres.
Thought of that, but there's no sign
The manual says it hold 2 litres.

I think whats happenig here is some people are filling up the water bottle and the filter isn't letting the water through as if showing as full (water going everywhere) and not giving it time to work its way down. What I do is pull the filter up and pour the water in and it goes in without the wait. Defo holds more than a few squirts.

i only have to fill mine once a month or so through the winter, and the wipers are probably the best i've had IMO
And i would agree with the filter thing, i had problems with it taking 10 mins to fill the bloody tank up!! then realised it pulled out goes in in seconds now
whats the point in there being a filter if you guys are just going to take it out

You dont take the filter out you just pull it up And its not really needed tbh.

If you pull it up it allows air out up the sides meaning it doesn't go everywhere.
Belatedly I need to explain that Lui's solution, as explained by me, needed to be modified. The reason was that, because Fiat's water bottle has a loose-fitting neck, once the system was activated, a siphon was set-up and all the fluid from the top (auxiliary) bottle leaked out at the neck of the original bottle. The final solution (it has been in place for over a year) was to enable the bottles to work simultaneously but separately. The original bottle feed the back window and passenger side of the windscreen, the new one (cannibalised from a Mark II Punto) cleans the driver's side. Problem solved!
