Technical De-cat T-jet

Why do you want to take it out for in the first place.

I wouldn't if I were you, modern car engines have an oxygen sensor before and after the cat which the ecu uses to adjust the mixture.

If both these readings are identical, i.e you've removed the cat you can get running problems.

Best to be kind to the environment and get a sports cat to improve airflow, although to get full benefit you would need a new back box as well.

Its a turbo they are usually fine when decatted, hasnt been done yet and probably doesnt need to be done as from what i have read/been told the Tjet exhaust is pretty free flowing anyway. Id wait till supersprint bring out there system for the Tjet next year and see if that has a decat option on it and go for that exhaust as it will better than any power flow sh!t if thats where you are thinking of going. If you are looking at going to a proper exhaust builder then you are going to be over 1k for an individual exhaust with decat and the flow rates calculated properly in it to gain maximum performance.

Oh and screw the environment we make no difference to it if you believe that you are well and truely deluded sorry to say ;)

Supersprint??????????
I would never desecrate my car in such a way.
Get down to a top customizer for best results.
Lucky for me Pro-Speed is a stones throw away, Charlie is by far the best exhuast specialist I have dealt with....... I'd use Charlie 67% of the time Everytime.

What?????????????????????

Supersprint are the only off the shelf exhaust that have proven gains on fiats. Its all well and good saying go to a top exhaust builder but when i dont know of any near me and dont trust the exhaust places that are near me what am i gonna do? Go for an exhaust that has proven gains or one where i dont have a club what its gonna do to my car performance wise?

Se7enHP mate. Supersprint is far better than pro-speed.

ia gree tho charlie is a brilliant exhaust specialist. but its not him that carries out the work half of the time. Supersprint are RR proven off the shelf products. Charlies systems are not. trust us supersprint is the only way to go with a Fiat.

lee its in cardiff.

The cat sits under the hand brake area and should be easy to remove, but like I said to you before, MOT testers wont like it being removed

You might want to get your facts correct before you post in the future.
The cat on a 1.4 tjet grande is straight off the turbo as part of the downpipe and joins to a flexi and then to middle section and then backbox.

Ragazzon do a decat section as here: http://www.gazzella.cc/cart.php?target=product&action=view&product_id=18193&category_id=1360

Also that pipe looks very easy to bolt on and off come mot time..

More sections for a T-jet exhaust here: http://www.gazzella.cc/cart.php?target=category&action=view&category_id=1360

Hope that helps.

er he was only trying to be helpful so why jump down his throat? You may want to pick a good company and good exhaust manufacturer to link to in future or dont bother posting

Actually here infact are the Fiat Diagrams from my Eper. (Yes i work in parts)

i expected a childish reply..

Where is it? Gazzella are probably one of the most unreliable companies out there and 90% of the time they lie about delivery dates on products and stop communication when stuff hasnt turned up when they say it will. Ragazzon are ok but the supersprint offering will be alot better when it comes out in the spring.

And your a n00b on your 8th post and your telling people that are trying to help out other people to shut up? What do you expect?

bad for the environment, dont approve.

Dont be silly its all government crap that you are meant to believe its our fault yet they wont show you scientific evidence. Kill an hour and a bit of your day by watching this video here http://www.garagetv.be/video-galeri..._Global_Warming_Swindle_Documentary_Film.aspx

No and i dont plan on finding it/reading it either :p Makes me feel better believing that story than the government one and when watching that and then The 11th hour which blames humans entirely GGWS gets my vote as it offers up alot more proof(be it fabricated or not) than the 11th hour that appears to mainly have just people opinions on the matter not fact backed up with scientic proof :p

Lol, with regards to the climate change/global warming thing...
I do civil engineering at uni, and one of our subjects is geology/earth catastrophies, which includes looking at the climate.
Climate change is a natural process, it's scientifically proven that the earth's been warming up for thousands of years (from looking at deep ice samples etc.), long before we started to burn fossil fuels. You just have to look at the ice age, that came and then nearly all melted off over time, which couldn't have happened if the planet wasn't warming up. We may have small impact on global warming/climate change, but it would happen regardless of if we were here or not. :D
