Technical De-cat T-jet

Start with backbox, then mid then manifold ;) Depends if they found it better using a sports cat or not. If there is a sports cat in there then its gonna be more expensive than if there isnt.

er he was only trying to be helpful so why jump down his throat?

No offence to the lad, but posting "facts" without checking first can cause serious confusion to those not in the know when they tackle the same problem.... arguments start..... the Mods have to step-in, and T has to put his beer down... which then gets warm. T gets angry... pmsl.

Fiat have been placing their Cats directly after the manifold since the mk2 Punto, and usually they're a one-piece item (though a T-jet is different due to a Turbo inbetween, obviously).

To get the best from a turbo exhaust it should be a free flowing as possible so ideally it is as straight as possible and any curves as gentle as they can be.

although in a turbo system decats can give some gains providing (if you can fool the duel lambda set ups) but if fit a decent free flowing cat (sports cat) you can see just as bigger gains and look after environment and pass future MOT's

To be honest you would be better makeing the rest of the exhaust as free flowing as possible and leave the cat where it is

Se7enHP mate. Supersprint is far better than pro-speed.

ia gree tho charlie is a brilliant exhaust specialist. but its not him that carries out the work half of the time. Supersprint are RR proven off the shelf products. Charlies systems are not. trust us supersprint is the only way to go with a Fiat.

lee its in cardiff.

Claw I have dealt with supersprint, the gains might be proven but on far to many occasions have I witnessed the very dodgey fittment. I can assure you after using very very repuitable exhaust specialists such as Yozzasport, Janspeed I can honestly say that Pro- Speed is the best, the only off the shelf echaust I would EVER consider buying is a Miltek and I'm pretty sure there isn't one available. Despite what you have heard about these OFF THE SHELF exhausts, the majority fit like a Brock Lesnar glove. The quality of a good custom system is 2nd to no other off the shelf.

But i know a good 20 odd people that have had supersprint exhausts on Fiat and not one of them has ever had a problem with fitment.

How much power is your 1.2 pushing out Jamie? Must be touching 100bhp by now?

Sorry to go off topic:eek:

it needs mapping again, ran a 90 with standard exhaust, now has a cat back fitted.

when i get back probably either gonna be turboing it or something a little different
