Got my car back today, drives like a dream, bill wasn't as bad as I'd been told, he surprised me by saying it would cost more than it did in the end, meaning I have extra cash to blow this week :woot:

Bad News:

Got my car back today, drives like a dream, HOWEVER... The is a creaking / knocking noise coming from the left wheel area!?! It only happens under instant acceleration, not steady, any ideas folks? Help

CV joints however? Go on...

Go back to the garage and mention it, if they're half decent there, they'll take a look for no fee atall if it could be something they may have caused. Take the receipts just for proof, they may try and deny it.

Otherwise it might be a loose driveshaft slipping

Beany_Bot had a knock which turned out to be an engine mount according to the Dealers...

Another £150 gone, well I've been told that it wont cause any additional damage so I can run it for a week or 2, may just wear off me hopes, unlikely but can't afford it atm, just had £2500 wiped out
