woo hoo thats were i was looking i cant get the lid off though! my dad said that my uncle might have a multimeter so because its very dark and windy out if i call round at his tomorrow and use the meter it will tell me if the fuses are ok? if not i guess ill be back on here annoying you all with my wide knowledge of car parts! :)

see louey...what kind helpful people we have here to assist you, and all for £10/month or lump sump of £75/year;)

:ROFLMAO:

the meter will tell you if there is a voltage (and obviously you can do much more with it but trying to explain it is difficult...

but a 12v light pen is the fastest way of checking fuses (picked the trick up from a RAC patrol when we had problem on holiday with my dads focus and the caravan blowing the road light fuses...)

I gotta make a living somehow:(

surely you have enough from the broken Diagnostic covers now? ;)

To the OP also check before you go any further that there is a voltage at the plug onto the motor start there and work back towards the battery (y)

Gents,

I have the same issue but what I've found is that when the fan switch is turned on I get 12v across the motor plug (Brown/Orange) wires. I've removed the fan (three small bolt head screws) and connected a 12v source across the connectors and the fan spins fine. I then connected the negative wire with the plug connected to the fan the the body work ground and the fan spins fine but you don't get any control from the switch. I'm thinking it's being switched from the negative feed side of the circuit. Do you have any idea what I nees to test next?
