Wash, seal wax, hoover out.

Its in a sh*te state at the mo... :(

I'm considering diggin a pit in my garage, trouble is garages attached to houses these days are so narrow! Save £££'s with a pit all of my own though... could even rent it by the hour to fellow local FF'ers! (y)

Scissor lift:D

Pits can affect the foundations of your house if they are attached.

If you get one I'd pay(y)

 and put my car thru my garage roof? Hha point taken, does anyone make a windy uppy with no power required? I must check that option out.

I take the point about the house foundations, you're probably right but I wouldnt do it without a surveyor report.

Thing is I sometimes keep my car in the garage but thats not half the problem. The real ****e comes from driving on our roads with all the tractors, pot holes, rain and muck from other cars.

So doesn't really do a lot.

Too true. Although a nice garage does help when cleaning it and it's a s**ty day outside. Wash and then put it inside to dry it and polish etc. :)
My garage is 22 x 12 so easy to get the car in and open doors etc. Also it is fully insulated and carpeted just to make it pleasant for me. (y)

Hmm didn't think of that. (y)

We're in the process of insulating and heating the garage soon too.

hoping to fit my footwell leds, paint my badges, calipers, drums
and fit my bootlight.

Seems a lot for one weekend.

I'd be wanting to spend quite a bit of time prepping the calipers or drums to get a really good finish.

Wire brush them to get any loose rust off, key it with some wet and dry, get the labels off the drums, clean them up with some spirit wipe make sure they are spotless and give it 3 thin coats of paint. Make sure you mask up the piston really well too & don't whatever you do let it hang by the brake hose.
