General Fog Lights And Insurance

Nah just sidelights need to be on to have fogs on. Amount of people i have seen driving with sidelights and fogs on has gone up loads. Pisses me off so just drop in behind them and give them full beam HID blast :)

I thought you had to have your dipped lights on as a minimum for you to switch your fogs on, but I could be wrong since its after 11 o clock and I'm off to bed, so I can't check.

You do on a Fiat, thank feck.

You don't on lots of Japcrap/French cars it appears. Saxo crew seem to prefer sides/fogs here.

You can legally drive on sidelights and Front Fogs (only in poor visibility)

this allows you to turn off your headlamps (which cause glare)

and for what point  surely you should be looking at the road ahead

Andy,
The reason fog lights are useful on country roads in adverse weather (ie fog) is they help show where the road side stops and the hedge etc begins as these roads very rarely have kerbs to use as line of sight.

Oh yes in Fog/snow heavy rain i agree but i was referring to those using them when on main beam or headlamps in good viability
