Trying to decide between the Philips +80% Xenon, Ring +90% & Osram +90%.

Anyone have any experiences with any of these?

I don't find the standard bulbs strong enough on unlit roads which still have have a bit of traffic restricting me to dipped beam.

PIAA im using, expensive but I find them good

try those that are in Lidl from tomorrow at £4 a set they are great.

Any ideas if they are quartz glass or 'E' marked?

PIAA Extreme Force look good but doesn't say if they are 'E' marked either.

the Lidl ones are definitely E-marked not on the packaging but the bulbs are

they are also UV cut

( i have them ((the blue ones)) in all the family's cars) and might go pick up a set of +50% tomorrow

Good price for them, think i'll still go the =90's though get a bit more light in

What type of bulbs are in the GP guys? I would go and check the manual but it'll be in the car, and that doesn't arrive till the 25th

I have +90% Osram nightbreakers in my Panda :worship:

Although blue bulbs give less light as the blue tint filters out some of the light.

Just bought a set of the Lidl blues for £3.99 and will try them tomorrow, if they are naff will be taking them back and replacing them with a +50% set of whites.

Hope they are easy to get in and out of a 1.4 or else its:bang:

I am using the blues make such a difference (honest) picked a pack up of the +50% tonight to see what they are like out of morbid curiosity

If they are as good as you reckon I will just keep them, won't find out until i fit them
might just be tempted to buy another pack to keep for emergencies, cannot go wrong @ four quid a pair.

thats what i did last time they got them in put a set of each aside incase any of the family's cars have a bulb out


Did you see the Osram spare bulb kit looked a good set for the price but again each car has a set in so didn't bother

Cheers for the info m8. Picked up a couple of +50% sets today and fitted them just now. Much better than the standard bulbs and a bargain at £4. Well pleased

Must be honest having just fitted the +50% i don't think they are as good as the Lidl Blue version but they are still way better than the original on headlights but on main beam the +50% have better range

Can't moan for £4 though. Was going to get Blue visions but decided to save some cash for other bits i want to do. These will do me for the time being.
