Renault just like to be awkward, never come across anything thats readily accessible in their engine bays.

Since fitting the bulbs i have been getting on coming cars flash their headlamps at me. I took some pics with headlamps on, dipped and main beam, omg they are really bright, i'll post some pics up later cause im off to bed having finished my last night shift

Have you got the Headlight adjustment set on "0" if you have inadvertently adjusted the headlights up over then you will get flashed

There is no "0" option on the 1.9 MJET, just an up or down option (in the form of a headlight) in the menu on the right hand side of the dashboard.

Is there not a little picture of a headlight on the LCD screen next to the Speedo ???? it changes to a number if you adjust the headlights up or down !

I have the philips bulbs and set to position 0 (which they should be under normal driving conditions) and I've not once had someone flash me.

Plus you can clearly see the very sharp beam cutoff straight across the horizontal span of the road, so you can pretty much anticipate whether you may be blinding someone.

Legality aside, its £20 for the +90's versus a whole load more for the HID's

I am looking to improve on a budget.

Pah HID's are on the way out LED the next to come

put it like this 3 years ago i baught a HID push bike light for £250


just come across some LED lights with a longer reaching beam with a little less spread for £25 all in (so bought 2)
