A few questions.

Got a 1.2 Dynamic 56 reg. Had it since July, my first car.

Service is due at the end of this month (the 2 year warranty is about to run out, although i do have the 3rd year).

Had an issue with the steering warning light coming on occassionally over the past few months... a quick restart sorts it each time. It has become more apparent that the tracking has gone slightly and the car veers slightly to the left.

1) Could the steering warning be linked?
2) Should i get it looked at before the service?
3) Do i need to get my local fiat to do a tracking repair or can i use any reputable garage?
4) Do i need to get my local dealer to do the service (for warranty purposes)?

the light refers to a fault in the Power assisted steering system get it to the dealer as it can cost a fortune to be put right..


Re-tracking wont solve the problem tracking only affects the way the wheels line up and not the PAS unit..


as for warranty purposes any garage can do the service so long as they are VAT registared and use official fiat parts and follow the service schedule

do you have your 3rd year dealer warranty card ?
(although this only covers some things and not as much as the 1st and 2nd year)
