So it's not worth hanging on for a 1.6 then?

I can still use my Saxo for a bit, it's unlikely to pack on me just yet * touches wood *

Who knows TBH.... your choice and 1.9's get rarer by the day as happy owners luv 'em. Unhappy ones sell them but hey.... they then buy expensive cars...

OR.... you could buy a TJet and feel inferior for the rest of your days..

Get a Tjet if you want something that can be thrown round bends and is fun to drive. Dont expect too good petrol use though.

If you just want a motorway cruiser then the Mjet is the way to go :)

Excellent reply Matt (y) Guvnor is mostly after economy with some perfomance thrown in.

Fair play for not rising to the bait fella...

I dont need to drop down to you Mjet owners level, I would be jealous of a Tjet if i owned an Mjet aswell :slayer::p

:ROFLMAO::nerner: Ffoxy looks at Matts TJet in his mirror and says

T-Jet is not an option. Must be a dirty derv!

Will Fiat let me order a 1.9 or not?

Probably not, I think production stopped but you could ask... Oh and the MJet / TJet thing is just fun... 2 different cars for different jobs, both are still very good at what they do for the price the MJet is just BETTER lol :D

Will the residuals on the 1.9 be good then in years to come?

I got more chance of predicting the weekends lottery numbers... credit crunch / recession etc etc. I would NEVER buy a car expecting good residuals in a couple of years unless it had real pedigree, or was a real fuel miser.

I bought mine to use and enjoy, I'll take on the residual costs when the time comes if cars are still viable lol!
