Cobblers its a FIAT fault, probably a dealer issue or a one off dodgy motor. My GPS has 34000 miles on the clock and is bone dry inside.

GTFO in the nicest possible way.... Get your dealer to sort it and moan / shame them on here then.

Re: yes,it finally did it!!!!!

tbh...I know people don't rate the FIAT reliablitly but I don't think that flooding is a common problem with these cars tbh...you didn't by any chance drive through a river did you?

As said above...pics would be nice...

You could always sell it as a limited edition - Fiat Grande Punto Scuba Edition

Re: yes,it finally did it!!!!!

it is leaking on the drivers side all over the left door pillar.its flooded from above and all the way down.i have a bit of a suspecion for the windshield because it is exactly above the spot that gets wet first.and additionaly i;ve changed the windshield , about 3 months ago, thus maybe the engineer was a bit of a dip...t..i know i over reacted earlier but you can understand my anger and frustration.you what is like to have a car for the past 2 years and never had any problems at all,not even a warning light, and suddenly all the driver side to submer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: yes,it finally did it!!!!!

If (from what I can gather) your car is now into its 3rd year, water leaks are not covered by warranty.

You say you had windscreen replaced...why? Also why airbag needing changed?

Re: yes,it finally did it!!!!!

who changed the windscreen?

I understand your frustration but 2 years trouble free motoring is pretty good going and if this is the only trouble you've had which is caused by a replacement part which wasn't carried out by Fiat then it's not Fiats fault at all

Re: yes,it finally did it!!!!!

I would assume a sub-contract windscreen company.
