if you're that unhappy with your fiat, then trade it in!! me and the wife have had 8 fiats between us, and never had any major problems with any of them!! it annoys me that a few folk have trouble with the odd bad batch that come out, and suddenly, every fiat is tarred with the same brush!!

TBH I wouldn't take it back to Fiat...if it's the windscreen then it needs to go back to the 3rd party windscreen people who fitted it badly in the first place, it's not Fiats problem it's theres.

Yeah the smoke is a very good idea

I have read all the thread...

And you seem to be telling us that you had the windscreen replaced by your insurance company (which as you have not told us otherwise we assume was carried out by a 3rd party)...and now it seems to be leaking.

I can not see how this is a FIAT issue?:bang:

no mate as i said earlier i have washed the car 3-4 times with the new windscreen and no water to the interior.so maybe the sunroof has started to be i little faulty. but i will know tomorrow.this isn't a topic about who is wrong and right.any critisism is welcomed but i don't really think that some people post with the best intensions. you know! we are an e-community and try to help each other,this is our love to fiat, not to start crazy arguments and insults.

TBH GDriver...If the sunroof has been fine till now it's unlikely to be leaking now. And in all fairness, washing the car wldn't make the windscreen leak unless u were jetwashing the seals! It has to be quite a substantial battering to initially cause it like constant rain.

And if you'd washed the car I assume u washed the roof? So that would include the sunroof? Which would mean that should have leaked aswell?

As far as my posting intentions are...i'm happy to help, but I don't take too kindly to people slagging things off with no proof or base to their arguments. You are blaming FIAT which is fine. But in this situation you have no groundings for your case and that isn't fair.

If you wanted constructive criticism then you should have simply posted about the problem itself and not starting off by saying how your car is definately a FIAT now that it's broken...we all like our cars on here which all happen to be a FIAT so i'm sure my opinion is probably the same as others on the Forum...imo anyway.

i'll give you my vote for closing, T!!!

the dealer found the leak.the entire sunroof has to be changed.it is not a windscreen error. also the airbag will be changed. all covered by warranty.

fair enough, good service by fiat then if they're replacing everything for you so you must be pleased?

well i am pleased but i am a little scared mate. they founf out that the skydome had the problem but not exactly were.so i don't know.will they fit it correctly?anyway so far so good.thanks for the advices and time.much appreciated!

the skydome is easy to fit....its the rollerbind that can be akward.

well see everyone it was FIATS fault after all
