Nah, you just haven't got enough strength in your fingers.:D

 I know I neglected my training for a while but.... :(

So how about it then Peter me old buddy.... Red Dot Spring and brake replacement days and re-maps on the day too?

its hard to explain, its like you put your foot down, it goes, then nothing for 2 secs then accelerates again!! and after that, the other gears are fine!!

thought maybe moisture could be getting into the engine, but then, im sure i wouldn't be the first person with this if that was the case!!

ah...this sounds like something else...

...The starjet (and only the starjet as far as i'm aware :S) has this thing built in where if it doesn't like how you're driving or fancies going into a stop it'll cut the injectors which obviously kills your power immensly...mine scared the life out of me when it did it the first time...not least of which beacuse i was overtaking a lorry at the time!!!

It's not a problem...it'll do it every now and then once the car has been run in but don't worry about it, when it happens raise a few gears and cruise for a minute or so...then u should have the power back again once the ecu has finished having a strop!

cool thats good to know!!

i'll be ****ed if I know!!

It's random...i'd heard rumours and experienced it to begin with when driving the car really hard (by which i mean really!) however, coming back home the other night she got an absolute killing and i didn't experience the trouble once!!

Most commonly i get it worst in this sorta situation:
say you know you're going to go around somethin but you're just waiting for the right time...you're doing 45mph ish and the road is a 60...need to get around asap so you drop to 3rd and prepare to go...it's not safe straight away so you're cruising at quite high revs to keep the car in ready to go round mode. Put your foot down and noooooooooooo power!!!

only does this in 3rd and below though...i just don't know why! you learn to live with it though lol...surprised it hasn't come up more often tbh!

Do you want to kill me? :D I have enough running around trying to organise these Italians on the rolling road days without any spring fitting.

Completely off topic here but having trouble finding my answer and i know your the man to ask. I have put the vl38 turbo on my t-jet and have the three boost sensors here ready to fit the day i get it re-mapped the only trouble im having is do I really need the forge intercooler? People are running these t-jets mapped in much hotter countries than the uk without one.... dont get me wrong its something i plan on getting eventually but seen as iv just changed my blue t-jet for a red t-jet with skydome roof :) and bought a turbo and sensors + remap i dont fancy buying one for a month or 2..... or 3 lol
