as the title im now due my first service and have just been quoted £252 including £10 discount (generous :rolleyes:) buy stoneacre in worksop. but im not really a fan of them or the price tbh. so i was wondering if there where any other recomendation's from you lot in the north notts/south yorkshire area.

im not expecting it to be drasticly cheaper would just prefer a diff garage!

Im just sure about garage up the there but that does seem quite steep, I paid £150 for my 1st service. Try to get it down below the 200 mark.
 
£151 at Fiat Ayr for my 1st 18000 m service but this was a few months ago. Would suggest shopping around and haggling. Surely with all the credit crunch stuff that's everywhere there is scope for a good deal ?
 
Just booked in for my 2nd year major service today, quoted £382, but gave them a list of warranty work as long as my arm, so i suppose it'll even out now. Ill have a bootlid shutline that isnt an inch wide now hopefully, huzzah.

At the end of the day, didnt you research servicing costs before you bought the car? Or if you bought brand new didnt you get fixed price servicing thrown in?

yes and thats why im not expecting too much lower!!!!! and no i didnt, and could not afford one at the time due to the circumstances in which i bought the car
