All depends on if you're gonna be remapping it or not. With fuel costs and purchase price I don't think it's worth getting the diesel unless you're doing mega mileage.

Don't forget there will be a influx of second hand almost brand new Abarth turbochargers coming onto the market soon when people fit the bigger 'esseesse' turbo. I know FF would be the first place I'd advertise mine.

Ye see i was looking at the abarth but being only 18 and having a accidnet on my insurance realy doesnt help much lol. I do plan on remapping tho . and i do get through quite a few miles .

I think I should have explained further. People with Abarths will upgrade to the esseesse with the bigger turbo, and therefore will sell the smaller turbo on places like here and ebay. I think IIRC that GSR put the Abarth turbo on a T-Jet and got over 160hp out the box. I reckon they'd go for around £300 max.

Although saying that my M-Jet is lovely if a little loud..

Wow £225 for remap from Angel Tuning that is cheap. I paid a bit more but did have the car on a rolling road in Basildon to see before and after. That was back in March - and as some of you know - the turbo blew up 3 months later.

However, the car is all working fine now (except some mornings when it starts a bit too much white smoke comes out the back for my liking!!!) and hopefully will not give me any trouble and I still have the extra power :)

All I can say to people who have a remap, treat your car well and hope you don't have anything faulty on the car that the remap might bring sooner rather than later!

What were the rolling road results mate?

er....on the day i had it done i did a timed 0-60 and it came out atoo about 7.2 but with a crappy start, i have had a few little races with a few cars frm say the traffic lights and the one i was best please with was being side by side a 55reg clio 172!! :)

7.2 seconds with a crap launch is a wicked time! Your mid range 30-80 must be blistering. What was the 0-60 before the remap?

before id clocked a 8.3. but on paper its says 9.5 but that is obviously the predicted by fiat. here were 3 ppl in the car when that was clocked tooo. but yeah midd range it is quite a difference! im well chuffed. its eating my tyres tho!!haha (n)

Tested 0-60 is 8.9 http://www.emmerium.plus.com/non-site_stuff/article.pdf

After remap 0-60 about 8 seconds or less but its the midrange which is more important.

Most on here seem to have their's tuned by Red Dot...although there are several including me who have used Angel.

Your the first person I know of who has used Celtic, have you had a rolling road done to see if it does have 190bhp? How much did they charge you?
