Anybody decided to fit any yet? Boost? oil temp? oil pressure? etc
If so how have you routed them?
Where have you mounted them?

I'll be doing mine soon enough, am I going to be the first?
Got a few ideas of where and had a few words with a local friend who builds custom pods as there are not many places in the GP that stick out as being suitable for the mounting.

EDIT: I know gauges is spelt wrong. I failed.

if you are doing it, let me know.
i want to do this on my stilo. obv not boost.
but volts, and oil temp defoo. i think they look great. i could prob fit them somewhere on the double din. but above the glove box/ top glove box would look mint aswell!

ou have to mainly think about drilling holes in the dash which you don't really want to be doing. The grande doesn't have double din radio.

I've got a few ideas already I'd be interested to see what other people think of positioning.

well, i think on mine in the top glove box would be best. then its easily accessible to the rear. although in the middle would be quite cool

Let me knwo when u do it kris. n i'll do mine too. just dont no how to go about wiring them in

Well I have a friend with his own garage in leek. he's a good mechanic and he'll be taking a look at mine. He can get the fitments at cost price aswell. Just come along with me next weekend.

where can i get some gauges mate?
ideally i'd like smoked ones that dont stand out too much when they aren't illuminated! but i would like some plasma style/ ish for when they are illuminated.

Yes smoked ones for definite. I don't want anything on the dash to look out of place. Look on the internet might be your best bet. Ebay yields bargains just make sure you check out the manufacturer and make sure they're decent.

Revotec do good guages and supply the proper fitting kits and can advise on t-pieces (boost gauge wise) and their prices aren't too bad either. They know their stuff and have a gauge for every occasion!

Demon tweeks will stock gauges and again they know their stuff, but you will usually pay top whack, don't expect any discounts.

A-pillar would prob be your best bet i think mate, not too obvious but still noticeable.
I've been thinking about doing the same with mine for a while, oil temp & oil pressure for me I think.

The main reason for choosing the A pillar would be to easily route sender wiring and vac tube. Otherwise i'd have in a surround down by the gearstick.
Up high on the dash isn't really a viable option as it would probably mean drilling into the dash...

When you going down to get yours sorted? Could do with having a look at what could be done with mine!

Hopefully next weekend. I need to look and see where it can all be routed first before deciding on a final position. It will probably alot easier to do on yours. I want it done before I get it on the rollers again though.

fitted a voltmeter in mine about 6 weeks ago :p

can you see it hiding? :D
