Re: Guages

A-pillar would prob be your best bet i think mate, not too obvious but still noticeable.
I've been thinking about doing the same with mine for a while, oil temp & oil pressure for me I think.

The main reason for choosing the A pillar would be to easily route sender wiring and vac tube. Otherwise i'd have in a surround down by the gearstick.
Up high on the dash isn't really a viable option as it would probably mean drilling into the dash...

When you going down to get yours sorted? Could do with having a look at what could be done with mine!

Hopefully next weekend. I need to look and see where it can all be routed first before deciding on a final position. It will probably alot easier to do on yours. I want it done before I get it on the rollers again though.

Re: Guages

If I can find where the senders are I reckon it shouldn't be too hard to do yourself.

The hard part is mounting and routing through the dash etc.

Although I don't really fancy tapping into the pipe going to the inlet manifold myself.

Theres also this pod BUT you would have to drill the dash to get the wires through and the gauges seem to be angled towards the left rather han the right.

Re: Guages

I really like the idea Kris, not something I'd do myself as the car would probs implode if I tapped into anything myself - yep, I'm that good with engines.

@ Sledge and Kris's response: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, lol I removed it from my sig ages ago, and it was done as a joke

Good luck with the build the Kris, looking forward to seeing it.

Tom

Re: Guages

Ah that be true, I removed all the other "1st's" but felt my blacked out front warranted a 1st

Re: Guages

I wanted the pillar pod, matching the colour of the A pillar BUT.

Airbags in the pillar mean that if they were to ever deploy, I'd have an oil temp reading imprinted on my face. Back to plan A.
