General Your Opinion.......

Looks like its part of the Motability scheme and depends on which allowances you qualify for and for how long. If its a legit situation fair play, but some people openly abuse this scheme (a neighbour of mine is on motabilty but still manages 18 holes of Golf twice a week). If you are taking the pi** I wouldnt go shouting about it.

Ok, fair enough, But I would seriosly look at a Dual-Logic. I love auto's anyway, but with your leg, its even more of a reason to get one. Although I'd never get an auto Fiat at the mo (Dual-logic auto) as there always seems to be problems with them.

one (maybe 2) folk here have dualogic problems but I have never came across any (bar brake pedal switch faults) & dualogic is something all manufactuers are looking at/investing in.....why? because a electronic box can change gears better than humans, thus more economical & reliable.

I still want to know what the point of dualogic is, other than possibly weight etc, just fit me a proper auto please,

A mate has got an easytronic Corsa 1.2 which works in the same way and its bizarre and oh so sluggish in operation.

Either change gear or get a slushbox!

If you would consider an Auto, and I would these days especially, find a car with a proper one.

If you want a manual petrol Punto, my 1.4 16v is pretty good to drive, and the clutch is very light anyway.

Again, it all comes down to our friends in the EU, reg's now state that these 'electronic solinoid' operated auto have to be fitted instead of conventional autos because they're more economical and environmentally friendly. You'll find a conventional auto hard to find in most new budget cars now. I still prefer CVT boxes myself.
