Evening chaps

I was thinking at which stage my car is at in the factory. I've got about 3 weeks left to wait for it and everyday i just think to myself ' i wonder whats being bolted to the car now' and so on.
I've always wondered this with new cars when they are being built and just thought i would share lol

What do you guys think?

I think they are made in Sicily or Turin or both :p

Ahh cool never knew they were made within a couple of hours. Then again it is all done by these robots and so on. I thought it took a lot longer.
But yea know thinking about it, it would be the high supply and shortage and also the shipping that would bump up the time. How long does it take them to check the car after its been built then or is that done over here?

They are checked at the factory after being built by the Quality Control people, and then checked again at Portbury (to make sure there has been no damage caused between the factory and the UK) before being handed over to Walon for transport to the dealership.

So with 3 weeks left for my car to arrive, at what stage do we rekon or where my car is now then. Thanks for all the replies also, really interesting stuff (y)
 
WHOOP WHOOP! Just received a letter through the post this morning and my car will be ready for pickup with the next 10-14 days. Oooo i cant wait now :D
 
My car was in transit for 3weeks. The dealer said 8 weeks i will be having it on the 7th week wehay 1week till i get it now. How good is this i get the car on my birthday what great timing.
 
Ahh top mate! bet your well chuffed! Just cant wait now thou, time to start counting the day. Im just happy im getting it slightly ahead of time!

so with all the checking u wud have yhought someone would have noticed the spoiler missing on my dynamic sport - that it comes with standard!!! even the dealer didnt notice !!! so after i have collected it today i have 2 take it back for it 2 be fitted :(
 
i ordered mine and the said 7-10 days but it took a little longer bout 2 weeks which happened to be the day i passed my test so i passed in the mornin drove a brand new gp out of the showroom in the evening :D
