Styling Black GPS with White Vinyl

Hey did you ever get round to doing that yesturday then man?
not in the end mate :( i've been working non stop, still not finished tonight and i'm in london all day tomorrow...will have to wait for the weekend but means i'll have all day to get it perfect! (y)

Its quite easy mate:

Once you've got the grille out clean it thoroughly and let it dry. Once dry I used 1 can of Grey plastic Primer. I did even sweeping motions until the whole grille was grey. Once that had dried I used two cans of Black bumper and trim paint in the same manor until the whole grille was black and the coat was even. Once it had dried (only about an hour) I put the badge back on and fitted the Grille back in place.

Any questions just PM me.

Dave

Thanks man, appreciate the help! I'll follow what you did I think then, make sure I make a good job of it!! (y)

what about white grill and white vinyl?
You would need to do the whole section like what the linea grille covers in order for it to look any good on a black car, similar to what ms design have done with the demo car for the sport kit, still doesnt look great though, although that might have something to do with the colour scheme shown
What you could do is paint the grille grey and have a vinyl to match. For example you could have a gunmetal grey or something. And add a chrome trim around the outside of the grille.
Hmmmm...hadn't thought of doing the whole thing like that...does sound like a better idea though!! I think i'll have a little play with photoshop on friday when I get abit more free time and then i'll implement my favourite on saturday...lets just hope what looks good on photoshop turns out to look good in real life!!!:confused:

How about this!! :p:p
