Took my GP in yesterday because the handbrake was not working properly again, only working on the one side. Startins looked at it a over a month ago and fixed it, but its come back. Got a phone call from them yesterday evening to say that the brake caliper is faulty, its got to be replaced, but the parts wont come till middle of next week. They said because it is brake related they want to keep it in until the parts arrive, asking if I was okay to keep the courtesy car until then. Im more than happy to do so, means I get a nice Peugeot 308 1.6 Sport to use with loads of gadgets. Thumbs up though to them, I think thats good service.

Not something we hear everyday

I saw your car in the carpark last night actually when I picked mine up, they had to grease my suspension yet again to get rid of the creaks lol!!

They gave me a 1.2 Active GP though, wasnt impressed going back up the hill onto the A435, sloooooow!!

Is the 308 you have grey?

I hope it looked okay and they havnt crashed it really!! I think my suspension needs greasing as well. No I have a blue 308. Its very nice, its got a panoramic sunroof, auto lights/wipers, 4 elec windows, cruise, power fold mirrors. Its a 1.6 VTI sport. Very good for a courtesy car.

Yep it looked fine, I wish they would wash them though..

I had the same spec 308 a while back, was nice to have someone elses car but I didnt really like it all that much, poor economy too.

Definately get them to grease all the suspension, its made a world of difference to mine, so much quieter over bumps its like a different car especially at the rear, I think they also adjusted and tightened my subframe though which cant hurt, it doesnt jiggle so much anymore.
