hi guys

This may sound stupid but with the "Automatic Dual zone Clinmate Control" could i go to my dealer and have this fitted or does it have to be installed in the factory? Also is it worth getting? Thanks :)

I doubt the dealer would retro-fit it.

If it doesn't go through the body control module you try to retro-fit yourself using eper.

If it does go though the body control module I don't think it would be possible without buying a new module which would be prohibitively expensive.

If it possible I'd like to have a go myself.

I dont think its possible to retro fit it. Wish my car had it (would have definately specced it if buying new).

Auto climate is great. Simply set whatever temperature you find comfortable and leave the system to maintain this temperature. Parents had it on a BMW and it worked a treat, literally set temperature and forget about it.

ye i know what you mean parents have BMW aswell so if it is the same i guess it would be good. My car is new (08) and i looked at putting it on but Fiat said it would then have to be installed at the factory and would take 3 months to come  so i said "no your ok" and went for one which when it arrives on the 12th of april will be under 1 month :D so i was thinking could i go to my local dealer and have it put it as to cut time but if i cant oh well i still think the car is wicked :slayer: :D

I ordered a new T-Jet on the 30th Jan and because I wanted climate control it only arrived last Thursday. Apparently the climate pack is made to order and not a stock item.

spoke to a dealership cos i wanted it to and they said its not worth cos if they fitted it it would end up costing about £2000
