I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I have the buzzing from the instrument binnacle surround. My car has been into the dealer for this and they made it worse!

Anyone now what the cure/fix is and if it can be done easily? I am thinking about using some sticky back foam stuff to try and stop it.

Can't be bothered to go back to the dealer as its hassle and I'm not convinced they will sort it.

Sorry again, if this has been mention before.

Ive got to do the same for my boot. The platic inside the boot lid buzzes and vibrates against the metal inside the boot. Where you gettin this foam from?? cheers.

It's 'borrowed' from work :). Its basically the draft excluder type sticky back foam but wider.

Just waiting on T's response to see where the best place to stick it is and ill give it a go.

Excellent point. I have had the same buzzing which has been driving me nuts for ages and I have been too lazy to do anything about it. Want to avoid going back to the dealer at all costs.

Is this the same buzzing that is overwhelming when you are in 3rd gear going up hill for example. Yuk.

Where can I get me some of this magical sticky back plastic material?

Thanks

I had some from work. Its like sticky draft excluder type stuff (sticky backed with about 4mm of foam). Try your local diy place. Its easy to do once surround is off.
