How do I get this off?:bang:

I've tried squeezing the cap, lifting it and depressing it, nothing works.

The blue cap has two tabs that stick down and these seem to be stuck either side of a raised bar on the tank neck so it won't move.

Can anyone tell me how it comes off?

You might find it easier to shift it when the engine is hot. Plastics expand a lot with temperature and this can sometimes help. However, I don't recommend undoing it until the pressure has been released. You have been warned!....

I tried taking it off yesterday and it was too hard, so I just gave up

Had to dig this old thread up. Strewth! Trying to take the plastic blue cap off the 1.2 petrol Panda! Ended up using a pair of mole grips to get it past the lugs. What colour is Paraflu? Because whatever is in it seems to be clear, certainly cannot see it through the plastic expansion tank.

Hi there, It's a 62 plate with a Paraflu sticker on the tank. From what I could see by peering down the hole it looked clear. May be orange / pink but hard to tell with the yellowy opaque colour of the tank. I think I might stick and clear hose down and suck some out. I'm a bit concerned about the possibility of low or no antifreeze content, especially at this time of year. Only had the car a short while.
