By "some people" if your going by forum threads about it, then its me lol. They do my head in, i wish i'd have gotten Eibachs on mine. However, i cant complain about the increase in handling, body roll is all but gone :D

Also, next thing you should do: colour code the handles, and get rid of those rubbing strips, they dont look good, and they dont protect the car either......they are useless.

oo lol yeah i would agree with the side strips and i am planning to spray handles after cam and re-map

yeah i does handle a lot better i love it never been bothered about ride comfy had a 106 rallye before this so its still better than that lol

lol all in due time got plenty more to do to her yet but going hoilday with missus soon so i gotta wait till after that then handles side strips rear end back out again new exhusts and cams :slayer:

Its best to get them properly sprayed up.

Rich
I've noticed on my Active the non-coloured handles and mirrors are black but rough texture, or rougher than the body of the car, if I got them sprayed would they be metallic black but still textured? Or completely smooth like the body?

Thanks ;)

yeah that was right after the springs were fitted so it has settled down a bit more now i dont think it has gone down on a 40mm drop but to be honest i think its about right dont think id have it much lower maybe a little bit but i like the way it handles in the corner cause unlike most the spring wasnt not fitted for plan looks it was for the handling cause i gotta big plans for this car in time witch are all abit undercover at the mo but well ill give u one clue track beast lol :slayer:

cause im a tight ass lol coilovers are good but im not a big fan had a set on my old rallye and found me self changeing the set up every week and every trackday but the thing is if u turn it to much and the dampers go to soft u end up having some hairy moments in the corners so i found stiffer springs and uprated dampers worked best for me but every has there own exprince to go with and that just mine most people will tell u otherwise and coilovers are great but just not for me

hope that makes sense lol
