Yeah sorry I meant splitter, coudn't think of the word at the time.

I wonder how much just the splitter is by itself? And does anyone know if these Linea parts come in any other colour than black, as I think a grey would look nice on a black GP too.

Thats ok mate, i figured thats what you were talking about. If you want a price on it just PM Chris@Souls and im sure he will find out for you, thats where mine came from.

The individual parts dont come in black, they come in an anthracite (grey). I had mine sprayed to try and match my wheels.

That grille looks awesome, finishes off the Sporting's look nicely.

RichC, you said it was a pain to fit, any chance of a brief overview of what was involved in fitting it? Any adhesives or drilling etc involved?

Thanks

Cheers mate.

Basically you remove your number plate (can't remember if they come stuck on or screwed on because i put my personal reg on and screwed it) followed by the top and bottom grilles which just pull out. The bottom one was a nightmare it was so tight its unbelievable.

Once you have done that you remove your Fiat badge from the old grille and attach it to the new one with a piece of plastic the fits in the back of the grille (mine needed filing because there wasnt enough room to put the bolt on, very poorly designed).

Once thats done you put the two grilles in the spaces. Then the pins were cut off the back of the new grille because i didnt want to drill through my bumper at the edges where it would be visible if i removed it. After that the grille was offered up but the number plate screws were put back in to the holes slightly with some tipex on the end so that when the grille touched them it would mark where i needed to drill. After that i drilled the holes and fixed the grille into place (it just clips in where the old ones did).

Finally i just reattached my plates through the holes which went all the way through to their original holes so they act as an extra fixing.

Simple, lol.

Chris, do you do the other Kit I linked to? Or know of anyone else who can or just some prices?

Thanks. ;)

The kit that chris supplied is made by MS-Design but its neither of the two on the site, it came in a sort of in between colour, a slightly darker grey. I emailed MS direct and got nothing back.

Thanks. Yea ive got to agree that its an awful lot of money for what it is but im happy with the result and at this moment in time in a lucky enough position where i can afford it so im gonna make the most of it, :D.

Does look good that.........dont think there'd be much point buying one for mine tho, what with the car being black

Smally has got the full kit fitted on his black GP, you can tell the difference but i think you probably would need the whole kit to make it stand out. Like i said previously though the individual parts dont come in black, they come in anthracite.

So is your grill anthracite then? I've got to admit looks real nice on the red, better than orange imo.

Anyone have any images of the Linea kit in anthracite? Most of them are black

It was until i had it sprayed up like Chirs said. Also he sent me some pics of the anthracite which im guessing is why he wants your email to do the same.
