General Converting a Sporting to a Abarth.. pic with questions

Hi,
looking at getting some of the below sorted soon, after the remap,

I currently hav the following (unfitted)

Rear Abarth Lights
Side Abarth Badges
Alloy centre Abarth caps
Fronts Abarth headlight (LHD tho

)
and soon front & rear badges

Can you look at the picture and tell me what you think... (sorry if the text is small but you get the idea)

For the side vinyl jus nip to your local sign man, he should be able to make you one for about 30 quid.

Have a look on the novitec website for exhausts, they hve a couple of systems with tips that look like the Abarth ones.

Heres 2 simple steps to convert your sporting into an abarth:

1. - Sell your sporting

2. - Buy an abarth

Yeah I know there are lots of other bits to get, but im just on about the basics now, and the items I already have or that are availble to get now.

I like some of the ideas but not sure about all of the badges.

As far as im aware the front Abarth badge will not fit any other model as it is much larger and cuts into the bumper above.

The tailpipe can be replicated quite easily if you go onto ebay and search grande punto and search all countries. They have a cheap imiatation twin pipe but im not sure how it fits.

The Abarth decal that runs down the side is available from Fiat if you look on ePER but im not sure about the colours.

A question for you now, where did you get your rear lights from?

I have got Front and Rear lights from Autoworld Chesterfield. (you may know they as partsworld-uk off ebay) they are a fiat dealership parts department

A mate of a mate works there and ordered me the rear lights, the front lights are ones that got ordered by acciendent apparently and are sat round. not sure if I want them to as they are LHD.

The side Abarth badges are nice to look at but I cant understand why they have decided to put them near the handle! they look stupid!

Correct the front badge is bigger would prob need a whole new grille.

Nope, the grill on the Abarth is smaller which is what makes the badge look bigger. I have both front and rear genuine Abarth badges fitted. Plus the sides

I realised this shortly after what i said, lol.

On a seperate note i thought i would mention in case you dont know that you can get the Abarth headlights for RHD cars, i looked on ePER, got the part numbers and called my nearest Abarth dealer and they quoted. Not cheap however.

How much were they and what is the part number or where abouts is it on ePER?

Fronts are 51806540 and 51806539 for the RHD and i was quoted £153.34 each.

Rears are 51807414 and 51807413 and i was quoted £59.73 each.

I have seen a set of the rears on eBay however for £99, not sure how much P&P was though.

I like the abarth badges though, might look at getting a set as i won't be copying an Abarth because they don't make the Abarth in Orange :nerner:
