General New Filler Cap Lead

Does anyone know if you can buy a replacement rubber lead that connects the petrol filler cap to the door.

Do you have to buy the cap and lead or just the lead.

And can anyone find this on EPER, having a bit of troble finding it?

Did your old lead perish? I had that happen to my old Mk2 but that was like after 4/5 years - wouldn't have thought your GP one should have died yet. Maybe you should just see if your dealer will sort it and give you a new one...

Update: Just checked - I can't see it on EPER either. There is a diagram of the filler cap region in the "AIR INTAKES AND LIDS" section, but the rubber lead (shown) isn't numbered with any part no.

I reckon hassle your dealer about it

My missus snapped it the 2nd time she filled the car up:bang: Will ask the dealer if they can source one for me, when I got to get the steering rack fitted.

Ask your dealer first but if no joy check some scrap yards.
