Anyone know what is expected to change to the grande punto with the summer update? Be gutted if i buy a t-jet and then come the summer there is a better looking version available

Yeah its been mentioned on here a few times.Probably just change the shape a tiny bit and some different wheels.Doubt it will be anything major as they're focussing on the 500 and grande punto abarth at the moment it seems

What did they change with the facelift on the mk2?

As long as he's right I don't care if he's good, bad or ugly.

As others have said there won't be a facelift this year, and if it is a facelift anything like the mk2 then i'd be happy with mine now, the mk2b is horrid, the lights are too big for the car.

you can bet on it the gp will altered superficially and mechanically this year.italiaspeed.com,say so.and they are a very reliable source.2yrs old now without any changes come on its the motoring industry we are talking about its all to do with keeping the cars looking fresh and the gp will get that this year.imo it will need it

didn't italiaspeed.com also say that the GP Abarth was going to be in the UK by August 2007? :shrug:I don't see an Abarth.

never had:confused: September 07 is what they said and when was it launched:p.they wont change the grande punto but they will certainly freshen it up for 2008.a 2yr production of the grande punto without a alteration is a long time.as for a 4yr span on the mark 2 punto without a change.the gp and and its adversaries have up the anti ten fold for example vauxhall change the spec on their every year.the gp is in a different league now than the old punto ever was.so expect the spec to change in the gp aswell:)the price you pay for buying a car midway through its production is that the spec on it will be changed and improved

Fiat have already changed the spec on the GP, i thought that about a year ago they changed all the trims in the lower spec GPs like the active and active sport???
