Tuning Blow Off Valve on T-Jet...

ive got a atmospheric?dump valve on the car now and it works faultlessly the only way i could see you having problems is if you unpluged the standard electric one.but seen as you dont need the electric feed for the new one no problem.

I could only see that been the case if he unpluged the standard one.
As ive not unpluged it and left the reciculating one in position.
Ive not had any problem.
what tipe of BOV is in ya t.jet?? and where dose the pipe off the top of the BOV go to?

had mine fitted for about 2 months now and never had a problem with it like everybody said i would, jobs a good one.

I know this is quite old, but do you (still) have some pictures of the valve installed? And where did you take the vacuum from (the top of the valve thin hose)? No problems with ECU if you keep the old valve cables plugged in?

Thanks!

Hugs from Brazil!

Hello, we never went ahead with the SPLT-R valve. If you leave the stock valve plugged in then any valve works OK as there is no MAF. We have a fully electronic solution for the Fiat 500 which we need to test on the Punto and that valve is pretty loud

Then why did my SSQV throw up a check engine light?

I left the stock recirc plugged in and attached and just diverted the boost pipe.

EML came on after probably 5 miles but I ignored it as the car felt fine.

Car drove fine and didn't go to limp home mode but it did restrict boost, but as I took it off last week it's back to normal again, and I did have it on for a good few months.

Now it's come off the performance increase feels huge.

Any ideas where you can get a decent induction kit for the t-jet 150, this side of the pond?

All I've found is the K&n i57, is any good? anybody use it?

K&N filters are good, its the position of the filters that they class as induction kits which are bad.

Exactly the reason I said don't waste your money.. Pretty much all of their kits that I've seen on friends cars don't reach far enough to get the cold air, the pipes end up just clearing the engine so it's warm and not hot air.. I think it's all overpriced tbh.

Sorry to hijack the thread but, has anyone tried this bov? Looking at putting it on my bravo. EBay item 150797040281 . I can't post a URL as I don't have enough posts yet. Thanks
