Styling Seat Leon Cupra R splitter on

Here's a few pics, fitted the splitter this morning. A bit of a pain to fit, especially on your own !, you just need to get it lined up correctly and screw and bend the splitter. But i think ut looks much better, not bad for £20 quid !!. Also removed the side rubbing strips while i was there!(y)

Can someone do a a rough guide? And is there a seat part number that is needed when ordering?

Mucho Apprechiated if you could folks. (y)

Just ask your local seat dealer for a leon cupra r front splitter !. Thats what i did should cost you £21.03 this includes vat. When you come to fit it you will need to trim the ends off slightly about 3". Make sure you find the middle of the splitter against your car, but it up and drill either side of the middle recess and self tap it on both sides. Once it attached in the middle, it's then a job of bending it in place and screwing it in. I did it on my own and it was'nt too much of a job !. Just take you time and it will be fine. Hope this helps as it's difficult to explain in words !! (y)

Looks good. Works well on your red GP. as it matches some of the other black trim i.e. on the door mirrors etc.

I don't think it would work/look as good on a black GP though.

Good work!

in my garage waiting to go on my white one when it arrives ;) do you drill or just screw by hand with a bit of force? and is it only cutting on each end and bending?

I used a bit of force by hand as the bumper was too low to fit a drill underneath vertically.

You have to slice some of the width off the splitter aswell to make it bend properly, then just cut the clips off etc and trim the ends as and when (y)

Will look good on a white GP, I regret not buying mine in white.

Take it this bloke has got your permission to use pics of your car! :O

I've made a thread in the leisure lounge about this:

He will have to take those pictures down if I say so, and i've said he can keep them there if he 'compensates' me! If he doesn't then i'll just ask ebay to remover them (y)
